Tellmi and NHS Somerset pick up Silver at the HSJ Partnerships Awards 2024

Tellmi is delighted to announce that, alongside NHS Somerset, we have been named runner-up of the Best Mental Health Partnership with the NHS category at the HSJ Partnership Awards 2024, scooping the silver prize in recognition of outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS. 

With 28 separate categories this year, the winners were announced during an impressive ceremony held at Evolution London, on 21 March 2024, hosted by Miles Jupp. The event was attended by representatives from the NHS, and both the private and third sector as well as key players from non-clinical backgrounds, all coming together to celebrate the importance of positive partnerships and acknowledge how these underpin the future sustainability of the NHS. 

The HSJ Partnership Awards are not just a celebration of success stories but also provide a high-profile platform that can help to shape the future of the new integrated health and care system. 

Previous entrants have said that official recognition at these awards is a real “stamp of approval” which can be instrumental in securing future projects and partnerships in the NHS, particularly as ICSs move from planning to delivery.

Overall, the HSJ Partnership Awards 2024 – which is now in its 7th year - celebrated the achievements of a total of 188 finalists!

Nine new categories have been introduced for 2024, with partnership and collaboration at the core of every class. The key themes behind these new awards included; community and long-term partnerships with the NHS; health infrastructure; data integration and, a new category for “Virtual Care Project of the Year”.

The judging panel was made up of a diverse panel of 79 highly influential and respected figures within the healthcare community. All finalists and winners were judged against 5 clear criteria: ambition; outcome; spread; value and involvement (including details of how relevant staff, patients, and partnerships worked together to realise the success).

The collaboration between Tellmi and NHS Somerset launched a new digital mental health service for all young people between the ages of 11 and 18 in Somerset. The service is providing a secure and safe platform to support those experiencing anxiety or other concerns. It empowers young people to assist each other in a moderated environment, with the help of supportive professionals who can assess any potential harm and provide appropriate support.

Almost any attempt to improve NHS productivity – the service’s greatest challenge - without working in concert with suppliers starts at a major disadvantage. Indeed, many of the best ideas for improving productivity do and will come from suppliers. Every one of the businesses on the Partnership Awards shortlist has shown the kind of thinking and determination it takes to deliver change in healthcare services. They should all be very proud of the efforts, our 28 winners especially so.”
