About us

Tellmi is a British Social Enterprise which launched in 2017. Formerly known as MeeToo, Tellmi is successfully addressing the mental health crisis and tackling health inequalities for young people.

Founded by psychologist Suzi Godson PhD and engineer Kerstyn Comley PhD,  Tellmi’s unique approach combines pre-moderated peer support and preemptive counsellor intervention to provide young people with easy access to the appropriate level of support. It is one of the few digital platforms available for NHS commissioning where young people can safely connect with age-banded peers to share their experiences, advice, and information.

A pioneering force in the digital peer support space, Tellmi has now safely supported 90,000+ young people.

  • Freddy

I’m Freddy and I am an autistic wheelchair user. I work as a web developer so have a good understanding of balancing accessibility with technology. Having spoken at various conferences on autism, I hope to bring enthusiasm and experience to this role!

  • Alex

I’m Alex, I’m currently training as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I have over 3 years of experience of working within mental health services and healthcare settings and I had anorexia as a teenager. I used to volunteer for Tellmi in the past as a supervisor SuperPeer.

  • Izzy

I’m Izzy, I’m 18 and I’m from Scotland. I’m autistic, which is something I have really struggled with throughout my life, however through using Tellmi and talking about my issues with other people I’ve come to see how dark places can become a little brighter. In my free time, I really like to read and bake, and I also speak 3 languages!

  • Thomas

I’m Thomas and I’ve just finished my first year of media studies at university. I benefited from using Tellmi for several years when I had a tough time in my mid teens and I am really pleased to be a youth advisor now.

  • Jayden

I’m Jayden, I’m a trans man from England, I have a passion for helping others and playing online games. I hope to use my past experiences to help other young people on Tellmi. I will also give helpful feedback and hope to be part of a great team to make the Tellmi community grow.

  • Velvet

I’m Velvet. I’m 18 and I got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was six. This year I’ve been helping Tellmi develop resources for young people like me. I’m really happy to be part of this youth advisory board
