Tellmi at Expo 2020 Dubai

We’re pleased to announce that Tellmi have been selected by the UK Pavillion Team as part of the World Expo in Dubai 2022 to run a workshop day to showcase how humans will thrive in the health and wellbeing sector in the future. It is an honour to be recognised as one of the leaders of British innovation in the digital mental health sector and we’re really excited to represent the UK at the Expo during the Health and Wellbeing week.

The workshop will be held in Inspiration Gallery in the new UK Pavillion on 28th of January, and will feature a variety of activities from eating cookies labelled with different emotions, to thinking about how you’re feeling on the emotional spectrum wall, to having the opportunity to explore the Tellmi app and the benefits of anonymous peer support, as well as hanging your thoughts and feelings on the worry tree that will sit in the center of the gallery. The activities will encourage all attendees to consider how they’re feeling, and engage in practices that have been proven to improve mental wellbeing. It is anticipated that over 400 people will attend the workshop throughout the day.

Having been delayed since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dubai 2020 World Expo continues a 170 year heritage of events that have sought to foreground human innovation and endeavour from around the world. This year’s focus covers the themes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability, across all aspects of human society, and events will be held from October 2021 - March 2022. For the first time in World Expo history, each country involved has its own purpose-built pavilion from which they can display the ingenuity of their nation’s trailblazers.

As part of the UK Pavillion’s programming, they have selected a series of different organisations to present how people in the future will thrive and learn. Tellmi Education has been selected for its continued contribution and innovation in the digital mental health field, and will present a workshop that will focus on the importance of learning how to take care of mental wellbeing in order to thrive. This workshop marks the next stage of a relationship that Tellmi Education has developed with the Expo team having been selected as one of th 150 global social innovators as part of their legacy programme in 2018. The goal of this programme is to support up-and-coming innovators to achieve wide-reaching social impact in a variety of different societal areas, and the workshop will also showcase the leaps made by Tellmi Education since joining the programme. Alongside the workshop, the CEOs Suzi Godson and Kerstyn Comley will be joining panel discussions and giving talks… [INSERT MORE INFORMATION]
